SysML Training in Östergötland

This course is designed to instruct participants on the fundamentals of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), its application via the Magicdraw/Cameo software, basic Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) simulation techniques, and MBSE best practices.

This course will explain how to use SysML, the modelling language for systems engineering. You will specifically explore block diagrams for modelling the structure of complex systems. You will deepen your understanding of the sequence diagram, state diagram, and activity diagram for dynamic modelling. You will also learn to use specific SysML diagrams such as the requirements diagram and the parametric diagram, as well as the concept of allocation. We will also emphasise the need to define a modelling approach that is suitable for the organisational context and the type of system being studied. Practical exercises will be conducted using NoMagic's Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw) modelling tool.

This training covers the core principles of creating templates and generating reports within the MagicDraw/Cameo tool suite, and explains how macros and scripts operate within MagicDraw and their potential applications.

This course is structured to teach the core principles of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), its practical application using MagicDraw/Cameo software, fundamental MBSE simulation techniques, and industry best practices. The training also equips professionals with knowledge of architectural simulation foundations, an overview of the Simulation Toolkit plugin, the simulation of various diagram types, and methods for linking diagram simulations to automate architecture processes.​

Objective:

Supporting Analysts and Designers in the field of System Engineering to understand how to efficiently gather requirements and proceed to embedded software design implementation based on system specifications using UML 2 and SysML.
