VoIP Training in Västra Götaland

This course comprises two complementary components: a theoretical foundation and a practical application module. The first part is a one-day introduction that covers the motivation, philosophy, fundamental principles, and operational rules of the SIP protocol, as well as its role in implementing telecom services, with a specific focus on IP telephony and VoIP. The subsequent two-day segment allows participants to master practical service operations through hands-on laboratory exercises. These exercises provide detailed insight into configuring SIP telephony architecture components, analyzing SIP signaling at both the message sequence chart and internal message structure levels, and understanding typical issues and troubleshooting techniques, including those related to security and telecom fraud. Trainers will share their extensive experience in launching, operating, and managing SIP telephony solutions, encompassing both virtualization and cloud-based approaches. The practical sessions utilize SIP hardphones, softphones, and IP telephony servers (Asterisk and FreeSWITCH). Participants can leverage the trainers' rich technical and business expertise in IP telephony by submitting their own challenges and questions. These will be integrated into the agenda during the wrap-up phase to address the clients' immediate needs. This training is designed for participants who possess foundational knowledge and experience in telecom services, specifically within VoIP and IP networking.
