The curriculum is based on a practical process I previously managed manually for an employer. We will construct a Power App using Microsoft Power Apps to monitor tasks related to newly built homes (storing data in SharePoint for simplicity). Subsequently, we will employ Power Virtual Agents to demonstrate how to activate bots within Microsoft Teams, guiding users to documents located across various SharePoint sites, such as loan agreements, budgets, and sales contracts. This approach highlights the significant value of such bots for HR and IT teams in addressing repetitive inquiries. You will learn to configure straightforward flows in Power Automate to archive attachments from designated senders (in our example, bank inspection attachments for the units) and to create additional flows that capture data from Microsoft Forms into SharePoint. We will also establish fully automated workflows using the Approval application within Microsoft Teams. Upon completing the app, bot, and flow, the final phase involves generating a concise Power BI report. We will then use Power Automate to dispatch a table snapshot containing the most recent completed tasks every two weeks to a specific recipient (the bank in this scenario), detailing the drawdown requests, completion dates, and associated budget amounts (all data captured via the app). As this course offers a high-level overview, I recommend that learners leverage ChatGPT for more technical aspects, such as coding or formulas in Power Apps. However, the course includes guidance on effectively utilizing ChatGPT to assist with Power Apps formulas.
